CHEST - LUNG HEALTH EXPERIENCE

The CHEST Foundation is the charitable foundation of the American College of Chest Physicians, with a mission to champion lung health by supporting clinical research grants, community service and patient education.  Visit chestfoundation.org for more information.

Why should you attend?

The Lung Health Experience empowers the public to take control of their own lung health while improving the connection between patients and clinicians.  During this event, attendees have the opportunity to receive free spirometry testing, speak with a volunteer clinician on any lung health topic, receive educational materials about asthma and COPD, walk through a virtual patient tour that demonstrates how asthma and COPD can affect daily living, and much more.  Learning about lung health is both educational and fun.

What is the process?

You will be given an explanation of the process and a "passport".  As you walk to each station, you will collect stamps.  Once you have 4 stamps you can join others to receive a free gift giveaway and talk about your experience.  The stations include: free spirometry testing ($106 value), educational materials and other fun activities.

Provided to you by the CHEST FOUNDATION, Chicago, IL.

Also, please feel free to visit the San Fernando Health Fair going on simultaneously, bringing health education and wellness to the community.

This will be a day on Main Plaza that you won't want to miss.  Bring the family, especially the grandparents, there is something for everyone.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!
