Main Plaza Conservancy Accepts Support for New Renovations Focused on Accessibility

Main Plaza Conservancy has pledged a $5 million donation to support the project through fundraising, and has welcomed support from the City of San Antonio.

City Council Member Sukh Kaur praised the efforts, saying, “Main Plaza is doing a great job of raising funding to ensure that they’re getting both city, county support and community support.”

Plans for the project center on improved accessibility for pedestrians, better ramp access for wheelchairs and strollers, and enhancements to paved and green spaces for recreation and free programming.
