San Fernando Cathedral Hosts
Annual Thanksgiving Interfaith Service
WHAT: The Most Rev. Gustavo Garcia Siller, Archbishop of San Antonio and The Very Rev. Tony Vilano, Rector of San Fernando Cathedral invite you to participate at the Thanksgiving Interfaith Service. Through prayer and music, leaders of various faith communities and organizations will gather to celebrate our common Thanksgiving holiday and provide the greater San Antonio community with the opportunity to give thanks.
Now in its 24th year, the 2015 theme is: Unity In God’s Name. The service is an imaginative, inspiring celebration which brings together persons of various religions and ethnicities in a prayerful spirit of brotherhood and reverence.
Non-perishable food will be collected for distribution to the needy, and all participants are encouraged to bring items.
WHO: The public is invited to attend, and the event is designed for all faith traditions.
