The First Annual Heart of the City Gala was held on May 22, 2009 from 6:30-10:30pm.

Congratulations to Mayor Phil Hardberger who received the "Heart of the City" Civic Award.

Entertainment was provided by legendary San Antonio Sax Musicians -- Spot Barnett & Joe Posada.
